First time visiting Chicken Plus and it was a great experience. The restaurant is cozy, the fried chicken was crispy, fresh, and juicy, and the sauces were really good. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, a very enjoyable visit — I’d definitely come back when I’m craving fried chicken.

SO DELICIOUS. I tried the rose and original tteokbokki, fried chicken, snowing tomato & snowing cheese fries, and everything was SO GOOD. Atmosphere was so relaxing (love the lights on the table), the owner was so nice and welcoming, and I had a great time coming here!!! Can’t wait to return in the future!!!

It's the best chicken restaurant in Waterloo and probably in Ontario!! Whenever I am carving for chicken I know where to go! It's already my second visits and I am pretty glad this restaurant is nearby! Looking forward to trying all the items in the menu! Highly recommended

Amazing experience. The waiter was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, making us feel very welcome. We were given a complimentary corn salad, which was surprisingly delicious. The food was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the bulgogi fries were on point, and the tteokbokki was chewy and full of flavour. Overall, an excellent dining experience. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

Tasty flavours, nice atmosphere, good portions, and super friendly server :) we got a combo which includes boneless/bone-in chicken, fries, and drinks. We were recommended the new tomato flavour for the fries which was surprisingly very good. All in all, I enjoyed all the food and appreciated how fresh everything was.

Saw this restaurant while trying to get Starbucks and decided we were hungry instead. The food was so delicious! Reminded me of home and will definitely come back :) The staff member was friendly and suggested a combo menu that had the exact things we wanted. We got yang-nyeom chicken, rosé tteokbokki and cheese balls. Got too excited about the cheese balls and took a photo when I only had one left, they were so good!!

3rd time to go here and food still amazing! Perfectly cooked! We usually come here Sunday after church. Price are reasonable too with the amount of food they give you. We love korean bulgogi fries and ofcourse their chicken!

This has been my go to spot for Korean fried chicken in Toronto for a while now. We ended up here because my friend’s fried chicken craving was long overdue, and this place is usually a safe bet. We ordered the Yangnyeom Chicken, Cream Onion Chicken, Hot Shocking Chicken, and Rose Tteokbokki to share. What I really appreciate about Chicken Plus is the consistency. The flavours and overall execution are very close to what I have had at other locations, which says a lot about how well the franchise is run. Everything tasted familiar in a good way. The sauces were balanced, the chicken stayed crispy, and dipping a few pieces into the tteokbokki sauce added a nice extra kick. The Rose Tteokbokki was rich and comforting, and it paired surprisingly well with the fried chicken. No complaints on the food side at all. Service was polite and friendly, but I did wish for a bit more attentiveness. The place was nearly empty during our visit, yet it took a little effort to get someone’s attention when we needed something. That said, this is still one of my reliable spots when I am nearby and craving Korean fried chicken. Solid flavours, good consistency, and easy to enjoy with friends.
